4Unit Systems Integration operates the OwnTheOrder platform as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. We provide our partners (restaurants, cafes, bakeries, retail stores) with a technical ordering infrastructure.
4Unit is not a seller of food or other goods. Each partner operates their own online shop on their own domain and is independently responsible for data protection towards their end customers.

3. Scope
This privacy policy applies to the owntheorder.com platform and all associated services.
It does not apply to individual partner domains. Each partner is an independent data controller under the GDPR on their own domain and is required to provide their own privacy policy for their end customers.

7. Retention Period
- Contract data: Duration of the contract plus statutory retention periods (6 or 10 years)
- Server logs: 90 days
- Support requests: 3 years after closure
After the respective periods expire, your data will be deleted or anonymized.

The partner is responsible for their own privacy policy towards their end customers. 4Unit merely provides the technical infrastructure.
